Families in East Windsor beat the winter blues on Saturday, Feb. 24, during the Kid’s Winterfest at the Scout Hall Youth Center on Abbe Road.

Presented by the East Windsor 250th Anniversary Committee, and hosted by the East Windsor Girl Scouts, the Winterfest is the third event in nine months of festivities organized to celebrate the town’s 250th anniversary.

Families enjoyed snacks and refreshments, cookie decorating, games, arts and crafts, and horse-drawn carriage rides by Jim Strempfer. Prizes were donated to the function, courtesy of the East Windsor community.
