Planned road closures for roadworks in Enfield and Haringey

Drivers in Enfield and Haringey may face disruption over the coming weeks due to temporary street closures for roadworks.

Notices from Enfield Council and the London Borough of Haringey in this week’s edition of the Enfield Independent outline the closures and other measures that may be in place while the works take place.

A phased closure of Morley Hill, EN2, is due to start from Monday, lasting for an anticipated 22 days.

During this time traffic will be prevented from entering or proceeding and waiting and loading on Morley Hill, between its junction with Browning Road and Clay Hill, as and when directed by signage.

A programme of sewer cover replacement works in Haringey is due to lead to the start of temporary road closures from Wednesday when Clonmell Road, N17, is set to be shut at its junction with Philip Lane from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

The following day Marshall Road, N17, is set to be shut at its junction with Flexmere Road from 9.30am to 3pm.

Between the same hours on July 2, Frinton Road, N15, is due to be shut at its junction with St Anns Road, as is Haslemere Road, N8, at its junction with Oakfield Road.

Groveland Road, N15, is also set to be closed to vehicles between 9.30am and 3pm on July 2.

Elsewhere in Haringey, a 24-hour closure is due to be in place from Wednesday to July 2 in Queens Avenue, N10, at its junction with Tetherdown and Fortis Green Road.

Pennington Drive, N21, is set to be closed from 8am to 6pm for two days from July 2.

The closure will be in place between the junctions with Moynihan Road and Macleod Road.
