How to play the Forest Test on TikTok
It’s important to stress that there is no scientific backing behind the latest trend but that doesn’t stop it from being a lot of fun to play!
Tell your partner/friend/ whoever you want to play with to picture themselves in a forest.
You should then pose these four questions to them – and try not to give the game away!
1. What is the first animal you see?
2. What is the second animal you see?
3. You are walking in a forest and then you see a hut: a) do you bypass it b) knock before going in c) crash it?
4. You see a jug, how much water is in it? a) Half b) full or c) none?

According to TikTokers who have done the test (which again is not based on any scientific reasoning), this is what each element is supposed to represent.
The first animal they see
The animal they choose is how your partner supposedly sees themselves.
The second animal they see
The second animal is supposed to represent how your partner sees you
Their response to the hut is said to symbolise how emotionally prepared they are for a relationship.
The responses – whether a, b or c can be interpreted in different ways but in general, it is understood if a person chooses to bypass it, they are not ready to commit.
Meanwhile, if they barge in they are confident and ready for a relationship while knocking suggests that they are emotionally ready too.
The last question – choosing how full the jug they see is – is how much your partner feels for you in the relationship.
